With Father’s Day just around the corner, now is the perfect time to find a great gift to say thanks to the fatherly figures in your life. Even though Father’s Day is really just another “Hallmark Holiday,” it’s still a nice reminder that it’s important to reach out and thank those you care about for being a positive force in your life. Here are some gift ideas for your dad, grandfather, an uncle, family friend, and other fatherly figures in your life:

New Duds for Dad

If your dad loves to dress up and can appreciate nice clothing, there’s an awesome collaboration happening right now between online retailer Gilt.com and five menswear designers. According to WWD, Gilt.com members “will get first dibs on Father’s Day-themed products chosen by designers Matt Baldwin, Billy Reid, Mark McNairy, Martin Greenfield and Ernest Alexander.” Gilt, headed by Kevin P. Ryan, Anton Levy, and other entrepreneurial-minded board members, is a fabulous place to shop for all the best designer labels, stylish home goods, and more. It will definitely have some awesome Father’s Day gift options.

The Greatest Gadgets

A lot of dads out there love to play with cool techie toys, and nowadays there is no shortage of great gadgets that double as great gifts. Why not get your dad some of the best headphones out there? Noise-cancelling headphones from brands like Phiaton and Bose are a great option for Father’s Day. If you really want to go big for your dad this year, a Smartwatch by Apple or Android would make the perfect gift for a tech-loving dad.

Outdoors Offerings

If your dad is anything like mine, he likely loves the great outdoors. Growing up, the times I spent hiking, fishing, and camping with my dad are still some of my favorite childhood memories. If your dad also loves to be active outside, maybe consider getting him a nice new fishing pole or tackle box. Or maybe even just get him an awesome portable hammock to lounge out in. If your dad could use some new gear for hiking or exploring in the woods, brands like L.L. Bean, Orvis, and Patagonia have a plethora of goodies to choose from for an outdoorsy dad! Whatever you choose, you know it will make your dad feel appreciated on Father’s Day.
