beauty products makeup brushes

Makeup brushes are definitely one of those beauty products that are worth splurging on.

There are so many beauty products out there that sometimes it can be hard to decide items are worth investing in. Most products aren’t worth the extra money, however there are some that are worth the cost-per-wear and worth the hype. I’ve listed four below that always seem to be at the top of “best beauty products” lists.

Clarisonic. While most of us scrub our faces with washcloths, there is a new kid on the block in face cleansing. The Clarisonic is six times better at removing impurities from your skin than hands alone. Save on your cleanser and invest in this tool; it’s one of the best beauty products on the market right now.

Makeup Brushes. It’s hard to not want to invest in something that seems punitive compared to the fun eye shadow colors or blushes, but those high quality makeup brushes will make all the difference in how your makeup applies. Be sure to wash your brushes and they can last you for years. I love Bobbi Brown and Nars brushes.

beauty productsSerums. Specially formulated serums are amazing at taking care of your skin, particularly because they reach areas that even moisturizers can’t. According to Web MD, “Serums are a top pick of many skin care pros,” suggesting that everyone from dermatologists to makeup artists are encouraging investing in them. Typically, the more research behind a serum indicates how expensive the product will be. Save on your moisturizers, and get yourself a good serum! I love the Murad line of products.

Hair Brush. Normally not someone to suggest spending so much on one tool, I will guarantee the Mason Pearson Hair Brush will change your life. This brush is on every celebrity hair stylist “must-have” list and will last you the rest of your life. Most of us use a brush every single day of our lives and don’t think twice about it. The boar bristles on this thing will make detangling a breeze and allow you maximum stimulation without breakage or scalp irritation.
