Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt have ended their relationship. There were many rumors that the couple may be splitting for months and they were last seen publicly together on July 22nd in New York at the premiere after-party for Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp where they were canoodling with each other. Hamm, 44 completed 30-day rehab for alcohol abuse earlier this year and credited Westfeldt, 45, for supporting him throughout his treatment which coincided with the Season 7 premiere of “Mad Men”.

The two broke up through a joint statement saying, “With great sadness, we decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history.” They have ended their relationship after nearly 2 decades together. They released a statement back in April denying rumors they had broken up. Another report started circulating in July 2015 that Jon didn’t want to settle down and have kids with Jennifer, which is something she wanted to do.

Jon and Jennifer began dating in 1997 and they then starred together in the 2011 movie Friends with Kids with Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott and Megan Fox. Jennifer had also written and directed the movie. The two became the latest bold-faced names to break up this summer including several other celebrities including Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale and Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards. Hamm and Westfeldt chose to not marry and they do not have any children.
