News recently broke that everyone’s favorite TV host Andy Cohen has executive produced a new show that is being shopped around to various networks called I Slept with a Celebrity.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Each weekly episode will feature two guests dishing about how their walk with fame led to a walk of shame, describing where they met, where they went and what they wore — or didn’t,” of the juicy gossip audiences can expect from the scandalous show. One of Bravo’s most beloved television personalities, Cohen has definitely navigated through his fair share of celebrity gossip, so turning these kind of vapid conversations into a hit reality show actually seems like it would be a pretty seamless transition. The project is still in the early stages right now, but with Cohen’s history as the host of Watch What Happens Live! on Bravo, it is sure to be a guilty pleasure for millions of people.
The 46-year-old TV personality and Real Housewives exec is known for getting personal details from the stars while hosting Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live!, so it remains to be seen just how far he is willing to go with this alleged new venture. Cohen recently inked a new multiyear deal with NBCUniversal-owned Bravo to develop a new series and remain on as host of Watch What Happens Live! for two more years. Under the agreement, Cohen relinquished the remainder of his executive duties but will continue to serve as an executive producer on Bravo’s lucrative Housewives franchise, which he helped to launch in 2005.
His credits also include Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, The Millionaire Matchmaker, Fashion Hunters, The Fashion Show, The Rachel Zoe Project, Shear Genius as well as Project Runway, Top Design and several Kathy Griffinspecials.
